Community Service
Community service is an important part of secondary school studies. Learn about the rules, opportunities, and how the required 50 hours can become a meaningful experience!
Community service at our Foundation offers high school students genuine, everyday experiences. Volunteers can become involved in the daily life of our Foundation and the work of our workshops, where shared activities demonstrate the power of civic cooperation, teamwork, and acceptance.
Community service is not only a compulsory school requirement, but also a real opportunity for students to take responsibility, gain experience, and build valuable connections.
Our Foundation has been actively supporting secondary school community service programs almost since the very beginning. We maintain ongoing partnerships with several schools in Pécs and regularly welcome students to our Therapy and Work Home.
All of this contributes to both personal and community development: it strengthens empathy, social responsibility, and self-awareness, while opening up new perspectives for youngsters and even helping clarify future career choices.
