For Private Individuals

Anyone can join our work as a volunteer. We primarily need support during peak sales periods (in August at the Ördögkatlan Festival and during the Advent season), but interested individuals are welcome at our Foundation at any time throughout the year.

Volunteering with us provides valuable professional and social experience, while also offering a genuine sense of community. Our youngsters warmly and openly welcome occasional volunteers, who can join one of our five workshops through participation in daily activities, collaboration, and creative work together.

Volunteers play an important role in the everyday life of our youngsters at the daycare centre. Joining the Foundation’s community is not only about helping others, but also about gaining experiences that can have a long-term impact on volunteers’ perspectives and attitudes.

We kindly ask interested individuals to contact us:

We Are Looking for Volunteers!

Giving is not only about money – it can also mean offering a little time, a smile, or attention. Those who have any of these can support us in countless ways.

Come and join our Foundation!

Occasional Volunteering at the Hold My Hand Foundation

As a volunteer, you do not necessarily need to commit long-term – occasional events, one-time activities, and campaign periods are also highly valuable. Our Foundation gladly welcomes occasional volunteers who assist with the daily activities of our workshops or contribute to seasonal sales activities. For more details, see: For Private Individuals. As a volunteer at the Hold My Hand Foundation, you can participate in a variety of activities where the impact of your help can be directly felt: whether supporting our youngsters in their daily routines, taking part in creative community programs, or simply being attentively present, the work of our volunteers represents an important value.

Internship and Professional Experience Opportunities

Our Foundation also provides opportunities for university students who are open to volunteering to gain professional experience. Combining volunteering with studies not only helps develop professional skills, but also shapes students’ perspectives and may even become a pathway to future career opportunities.

Inclusive Approach to Volunteering

Joining the everyday lives of people with disabilities as a volunteer offers an experience that naturally fosters the values of acceptance and inclusion. While our volunteers spend time with the youngsters, they get to know one another, friendships develop, and social diversity gradually becomes more familiar and natural. A colorful community life, friendly atmosphere, and mutual learning characterize the cooperation between our volunteers and youngsters. We are all different, and that is perfectly okay – this is the experience awaiting anyone who volunteers with us.

For Private Individuals
